We recently went to Orlando on our fall family vacation and stayed at the absolutely beautiful Caribe Royale. Caribe Royale was so kind and invited us to stay for a few nights and we had the most amazing time. So if you’re looking for where to stay in Orlando, look no further!
The Resort
When I first seen photos of Caribe Royale, I absolutely fell in love! It’s absolutely me with its beautiful pink aesthetic and gorgeous palm trees! It’s located on 53 tropical acres and there’s even a shuttle that will take you around the resort!

Caribe Royale is a Walt Disney World Good Neighbor hotel meaning the hotel is located close to Disney World and has received Disney’s stamp of approval. These hotels must meet certain requirements for proximity, quality, and value. Disney is known for its impeccable standards. Read more about it here
Our suite

We had a gorgeous two-bedroom , two bathroom suite with a kitchen that had a fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and coffee maker! We also had a living room with pull out bed, large dining area, laundry and a beautiful balcony over looking the pier and lake. The primary bedroom was incredible! We had a gorgeous, huge tub and the most beautiful tile shower that also had a built in seat and rainfall shower.
The room slept 6 and was absolutely perfect for our family. We had lots of space and the beds were so darn comfy, it was the best sleep we had all vacation lol!

Food & Drinks
We ate breakfast at Tropicale both mornings and it was delicious! The servers are absolutely wonderful and so friendly!
They have a buffet option with lots of choices like eggs, sausage, oatmeal, pancakes, waffles, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal and lots more. You could also order off of their menu which I did both days. I had the eggs Benedict one day and the pancakes the other. Both were absolutely delicious!

They have an award-winning steakhouse called The Venetian Chop House. Unfortunately we didn’t have a chance to eat here but I’ve heard nothing but amazing things. It’s definitely on our must do list for next year!
They also have a rum bar that looks really fun with many delicious drinks and a new bar coming in 2024 that looks amazing! Stadium Club is scheduled to open January 2024 and will be an immersive VR experience with eight pro-level sports simulators and 17 games offering all-day, into-the-late-night fun for all levels and ages.

Pools

I cannot even begin to explain how beautiful the resort is! The main pool is absolutely stunning and has a waterfall and a water slide. Kennedy was obsessed with the water slide and went down probably 50 times one day lol!
Our villa also had a private pool area but the kids wanted to stay at the main one with the slide and waterfall. There’s also a kids splash pad and two hot tubs.

On one of our days we had this amazing cabana and I highly recommend getting one if you have the chance! It was huge with lots of space to sit and lay down. There was a mini fridge and also a safe. The server and host were absolutely fantastic and took excellent care of us.
We ordered lunch from Calypso and ate it in the cabana to enjoy the beautiful sunshine. The lunch was AMAZING!!! The burger and fries were soooo good and also the chicken wings, dips trio and the shrimp tacos!
Oh my goodness the drinks! They have so many delicious drinks to choose from and lots of non-alcoholic options as well! I had a few cocktails and my favourites were the Pina colada, funky monkey and the Mango Mamba!

Things to do
There’s so much to do at the resort! There’s really no reason to leave! The gym was the best gym I’ve ever seen at a hotel! There was two levels and they had tons of equipment that actual gyms would have (even a Smith machine)!
They also had drinks and protein bars available for purchase. You can also borrow bicycles (complimentary!) at the fitness facility. There’s also catch and release fishing and the pier is absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend taking a morning walk out there!

There’s also an arcade, gift shop, convention centre, 7 restaurants and bars including a Starbucks!!! It’s a pet friendly resort and there’s also a walking/running trail AND transportation to Disney theme parks and Disney Springs!
On weekends they even have a movie under the stars! We were so sad we didn’t get a chance to do this but it’s definitely on our list for next year!

Location
The location is absolutely perfect! We were about 17 minutes to Magic Kingdom, 10 minutes to Disney Springs, 19 minutes to International Premium Outlets and about 21 minutes to Universal Studios.
We were also close to Cracker Barrel, Ihop, McDonald’s and Krispy Kreme!
We really did have the most amazing time staying at Caribe Royale. Everyone was so sad and disappointed we had to leave and we all kept saying how much we wished we just had one more day there! We definitely want to go back to Caribe Royale next October!
